Even more chilling!

Terrigal, Australia, Australia

Believe it or not, today was even more relaxing than yesterday! Jono and Erin were both working in Sydney today so I was left home alone. Luckily Jono is a huge UFC fan as well so he left a pile of DVDs for me to watch. I spent the entire day on the couch watching UFC and SportsCenter when I found out that they get ESPN over here! I’ve not seen SC since I left Colorado so it was nice to get that little slice of home from the comfort of a nice sofa.

Erin has a night out in Sydney with some of her friends from work tonight so I went out with Krissy. Krissy’s friend Jackie picked me up from Erin’s at about 7:30pm and we went into Terigal for dinner at a Thai restaurant called ‘N Thai Sing. It took me a while to get the name, but then I thought it was very clever. What wasn’t clever was the service at this restaurant. We were seated straight away, but it took at least 20 minutes before we could entice someone to come over and take our order. We were hoping it would come out pretty quickly considering Jackie needed to be at work down the road at 9:30pm, but we were disappointed. 9:30pm came and went and we still didn’t have any food, so Jackie had to leave without even eating. We cancelled her meal and waited for our two dinners only because we were both starving! The meals finally came at about 10pm and we devoured them by 10:15pm. We paid the bill and got out of their as soon as we could simply because we were sick of sitting in those chairs for so long.

We went back to Krissy’s house and I met her husband Damo (Damien), who had asked that we bring him a takeaway back from the Thai place, but was then way too tired to eat it by the time we got home. We stayed up for about an hour chatting and then hit the hay. Both Damo and Krissy are working tomorrow and I’m going into Sydney with Krissy to see some sights. Hopefully I’ll get some sun this time!
