The Home of Golf

St. Andrews, United Kingdom, Europe

Today we took a ride up to St Andrews to show Ryan one of the nicest towns in Scotland. Again, we got lucky with the weather, it was sunny and warm, but very windy up on the coast. The drive up to St Andrews was relaxing and very entertaining for me, as Ryan kept falling asleep and head-bobbing the whole time. It was hilarious.

We stopped in for a drink at Ma Bells, then on to B. Jannetta’s for some home made gelato. That kicked our hungers into gear, so we headed up to Anstruther for some world famous fish and chips. This was Ryan’s first time there, but it wasn’t exactly my first rodeo, so I knew what to expect. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! It is absolutely the best fish and chips ever. Period.

We hung out on the pier for a while trying not to get washed away by the waves crashing up on the side of the marina. Don’t worry, we made it out alive.

We then headed home to meet up with Keith for a pub quiz. We tried a few different bars, but couldn’t end up finding a quiz, so just had some drinks. It was another chill day, but good none-the-less. Now I have to pack for this three week trip. I hate packing…
