Chill day in Cusco

Arequipa, Peru, South America

I had a relatively quiet day in Cusco today. I slept like a baby last night at my hostel, and then arranged to meet Nicole, Scotty, Linda and Drew for Breakfast. We met at this place called Jack’s that had been recommended and it was excellent! I had one of the best breakfast’s I’ve had in South America while I was there. I had huevos rancheros with a strawberry-banana shake. It was awesome!

I went back to check at Lorenzo’s to see if my package ever arrived from Jo, but it didn’t. I walked around town, picked up a few things, and then headed back to the hostel. I’m still pretty exhausted from the trek, so I needed some relaxation time. I spent most of the day putting my pictures together from the trek, and posting my blogs.

I got a ticket for the Tepsa bus that left Cusco at 8:30pm, so I hung out until then and then got a taxi to the Terminal Terrestre to catch my bus. It was only 55 soles, instead of 110 for Cruz Del Sur, but the bus isn’t bad at all. Actually, it is really nice, and has food service and wifi, so I would definitely use Tepsa again.

I’m on the bus now and everything seems to be going fine. I am hoping to get some sleep and then wake up in Arequipa around 6:30am. Fingers crossed!
